JUST in Time for the Holidays!

Yes, another cookie recipe, but these are SO good!
This one comes from the kitchen of Mama Schartz, as well. She's quite the baker, if you haven't caught on yet! This recipe is Kory's favorite, let me know what you think!

Ok for some, this one might be a little bit tougher.  I still think it's fun though and fairly quick!
Here's what you need:

48 rolos
2 1/2 C flour
 1 C sugar
1/2 C unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 C brown sugar
1 C margarine
2 eggs
2tsp. vanilla

Beat sugar, brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and eggs, beat well.
Add flour.
Add cocoa and baking soda, blend well.

I add all of these slowly, with the mixer on the lowest level.

For each cookie, WITH FLOURED HANDS(this is key) shape about 1 tbsp of dough around one candy. Make sure to cover the Rolo completely! Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 8 minutes on 375 (our oven is gas and brand new so I baked mine for 6 minutes, you be the judge)

Don't they look delish?! All of that ooey gooey caramel inside just waiting for you to bite in! You should definitely take these to a holiday party this season!
xx,
Mel
