A look back at our 2011

In honor of the upcoming New Year, I thought I'd share a look back at our 2011 with you all!

In January, we took a road trip with some friends to their hometown, Liberal Kansas. We were able to join them in seeing Mr. Jerrod Niemann receive the key to their city. January 15th was dubbed The Official Jerrod Niemann Day and we were there to witness it!! haha :) While we were there we also visited Dorothy in the Land of Oz, enjoyed some delicious Braum's and hit up the local Buckle. Great trip!

In February, we went to see our FAVORITE band, The Randy Rogers Band, enjoyed the Superbowl with friends, had a nice Valentine's dinner at Anthony's and we had some crazy snow!

In March, our only excitement was driving to get our Tego bear! That was enough for the whole month though! She kept us so busy! Oh, and a week or so after getting Tego home, she enjoyed her very first snowfall! She loved it.

In April, Kory turkey hunted while I celebrated Kenzie Sue's 6th birthday, had dinner with some friends and hung out with Teegs. She starts gettin' bigger here...

In May, we celebrated Kory's birthday(at Anthony's of course), we went to the Derby Day Fundraiser at Tower and celebrated Natalie's birthday! We had a visitor in our back yard and Tego of course got bigger...

June was the month of our wonderful engagement party. What a party it was!

July was busy. There was 4th of July at the lake, which is where I had my first go at skiing(no bueno). Kory is a natural of course. Tego started getting on the furniture at this point. We saw The Lost Wax at O'Dowds on the Plaza. Then there was Randy Roger's again, this time we saw them at P&L. We finished July with the Paone Wedding.

In August, we were able to see the lovely Tetuans get married, my mom and I saw Janet at Starlight(that woman is still a remarkable performer!) and we also enjoyed a Chiefs preseason game. And then it happened...Kory tore his achilles tendon while playing basketabll :( He immediately had surgery and he was down for 2 weeks, after that was a long road to recovery. At the end of August Kory showed up to my bridal shower on crutches and enthusiatic! :)

September brought Richard's birthday, a Straub Wedding and a Gordon Biersch grand opening...

In October there was our bachelor/bachelorette parties, a trip to San Diego with the girls, my birthday and another beautiful wedding!

Early November brought a deer for Kory. Then there was this little event...OUR WEDDING!!

2011 was so good to us. I can't imagine life getting much sweeter...that is unless, 2 becomes 3 in 2012?? hehe we'll see! (Kor would kill me if he read this!)

Adios to 2011 and cheers to 2012! Here's to new, and everlasting memories!
-Melly
