200

Can you believe that today marks the 200th post here at Love Like Johnny and June? What started out as just a way to share our wedding details has blossomed into a full-time hobby for me.

I have to say, I'm very thankful for all of the love and support all of you have shown me. Your comments, tweets & shares keep me motivated. I really try to give you guys material that I truly care about and put my full heart into. Anytime you have comments or suggestions, feel free to share them! I love hearing from you guys and getting your feedback.

Anyway, onto my post for today...
I'm sharing my favorite cupcakes everrrrr-Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Cupcakes! Is there a better match made in heaven than chocolate and cream cheese? None come to mind right now. Perhaps that's because I'm too busy drooling over the cream cheese and chocolate combo!

Again, I'm getting off subject. So here's what you need:

1 box chocolate cake mix(to keep it easy) + what the box calls for(eggs, oil, water...)

1 pkg cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt

1 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Mix cake batter according to box directions. Add in 3/4 cup choc. chips to batter. I love the surprise of the chips in the cake part of the cupcakes!

Mix cream cheese, 1 egg, salt and sugar. Add 1 cup choc. chips to mix.

Fill your cupcake holders half way with the cake mix. Then take a melon baller, spoon or tiny ice cream scoop and top them with your cream cheese mix. Bake at 350 for about 18-20 minutes, depending on your oven!

You're going to love these, they're amaze! Nom.

Don't forget, in honor of the 200th post, I have a GIVEAWAY happening! It's valued at over $80!
xx,

  1. I made these this week (with a homemade cream cheese frosting) for a picnic & they were amazing! All the chocolate chips that I put in the batter settled to the bottom of the cupcake, is that normal? It was fine, I just didn't know if normal. Thanks for the great recipe!

  2. Awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed them. That doesn't seem normal at all. When I make them te chocolate chips are dispersed throughout the cupcake do you get a little surprise morsel in every bite!
