{Spicy Chicken Wings}

WARNING: These are NOT healthy and they ARE spicy...and delicious!

My mom made these at our awesome, Ugly Christmas Sweater party last year and I swear people ate them like they had never eaten before. With mouths full of chicken, sweat beading down, and illustrative sticky-saucy hands they exclaimed that they'd never had wings so tasty. I have to agree, they were some pretty rockin' wings. My mom kicks booty when it comes to cookin'. Anyway I had to share this recipe with y'all. It's super simple and fairly quick, so I hope you guys enjoy!

This recipe doubles as a delicious pan-fried chicken recipe AND a spicy wing recipe! SCORE!
Start by filling your pan with oil, you'll want to give it time to get nice and hot and then you can turn it down when you put your chicken in. Fill your pan about half way, we don't want it to boil over!

Then you'll prep a batter. My fry batter always consists of flour, garlic, salt and pepper. Super simple. I had 10 wings so I did about 2 1/2 cups of flour. A whole lot of garlic and salt and pepper to taste. All your flavor(not spice, flavor) comes from the batter, so you want to knock it out of the park on the batter. Soo...
Let's say:

2 1/2 cups of flour
4 tbsp garlic (I told you I like garlic). You can do less if you'd like.
1 tbsp of salt. Adjust to taste if needed.
1/2 tbsp pepper

Then you'll need to best 4-5 eggs in a separate bowl. Just beat them with a fork.

Next you'll prep your wing sauce. You'll melt a stick of butter on low heat and stir in a bottle of Tabasco sauce and a pinch of garlic and salt. *Put aside until chicken is done frying*

Now you're ready. Wings go into the egg bath, then your batter then the frying pan! You''l fry them for a total of 13 minutes, so about 7.5 minutes on each side. I fried mine on med-high heat. They should turn a lovely golden brown.

Once they're fried put them in a large bowl, drizzle your sauce over them and shake 'em really well. They should all be nicely coated!

Serve with ranch or blue cheese and devour!!
