Happy Weekend!

My birthday month celebrations are in full effect. Last night(on a school night) Kory took me out on a date. We went to see a movie. We never go see movies. Especially not last minute and not at 9 o'clock. For my birthday he told me I could go see any movie I wanted to. I have been so eager to see Pitch Perfect, so we bundled up and headed out the door into the cold and rain. We drove to Leawood(which is about 20 minutes away) because the local theater wasn't showing it yet. To our surprise, and disappointment, Leawood wasn't showing it either! For some reason we thought it was already out. Let me remind you that it was already 9 o'clock and we drove 20 minutes in the rain and cold to see this movie that I was so excited about. So naturally I turned into a pout-butt. Our other movie choices were unappealing to say the least. I was basically ready to go home, when Kory saw, "Trouble with the Curve" on the screen. We'd seen a preview of this recently which we both thought looked good. The only problem was that it didn't start until 9:20 and it was only 8:40. Kory decided we should wait because he really wanted to take me to a birthday movie. So we waited around chit-chatting, drinking our soda and eating our popcorn. Forty minutes later, our movie began. Can I just say that it was ahh-mazzing?? I can't wait until it comes out so I can buy it. It was totally worth the wait and the poutting. I'm so glad Kory talked me into staying. We watched the perfect movie for my birthday date night. Thanks for our date honey! It was a fabulous start to my birthday month! ;) Eight more days friends! Go see Trouble With the Curve!
