I do have one more post from our anniversary trip to share, but to break up the monotony of Kory and Melissa posts, I thought I'd share something a little different today. If you haven't seen part one and two of our trip, they're here and here
So today is a super silly DIY. It's just a cute little stamped polka dot wall art. I had an extra canvas left over and really wanted to use it for some more decor. I didn't want to spend any money on this project though. I wanted something simple and black and white. I had black paint left over from this canvas project, so that's what I used. Since I wanted a "stamped" effect and I didn't want to buy an actual stamp, I looked all over for something round to stamp with. I ended up finding one of those round little pads that you put on the bottom of your chair feet to keep from scratching your floors? You know what I'm talking about? Those little felt pads, yeah anyway, that's what I used to stamp on the paint! It took me all of 10 minutes to find the materials and make this canvas. The longest part was letting it dry. I put it on my kitchen countertop to play up all of the white and pops of green. I love it and for no money at all who can complain? I also love that I could throw it in with my collage of frames in the living room and it will fit right in! It's kind of silly, I know, but for some reason I just love it! :)

  1. I just recently did the same thing! I wanted to be crafty without spending any money. I used a frame I already had and put cute bright holiday wrapping paper as the background. I then printed off an outline of a deer and spray painted it gold to match the letters we have on our mantle. When I craft something cheap or free I love it even more! I love your polka dots with the green...such a simple pop that really makes a statement!

We LOVE getting comments, go ahead and leave one!
