{Tiny Hearts Garland}

 I know a lot of people despise Valentine's Day and I do agree that it's totally overrated, but that doesn't mean we can't decorate for it, right? I've been stuck on banners and garlands ever since I made this cute little Christmas Banner(how 'bout those green walls? I can't get over them, what was I thinking?). I wanted to whip up a little banner for February, just to keep a little bit of festive decor around. I'm missing all of the Christmas sparkle already.
As usual, I didn't want to spend any money, so I just gathered up a few things from around the house. I had the hemp that the hearts are hanging on, super glue and the brown paper from when I made the last banner. I also had some red felt in the basement from a project that I attempted, but failed miserably at. :) I wanted to get some pink in there so I searched through all of our junk in the basement and I found a pint gift bag. So I cut the hearts from brown paper, red felt and a pink gift bag, pretty sweet use of my resources! Once I had them all cut out I just super glue them to the hemp without any space. I place it flat on a table to dry for 30 minutes or so and that was it, next I just had to hang it. I tried it on the windows and the mantle. I'm not sure where I want to keep it. Maybe I'll make another one? Where do you guys like it? Here's how it turned out...

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Monday!
