{Baby Schartz: Week 29}

How far along?: 29 weeks
Total weight gain?: 9lbs.
Size of baby?: Baby Schartz is the size of an Acorn Squash! He's anywhere from 2.5-3.8lbs, I'd guess the higher end, since he's been measuring 2 weeks ahead!
Maternity clothes?: No, still squeezing into everything.

Stretch marks?: Nooooo! Please stay away!!
Sleep?: I'm still waking up to leg cramps and having to get up to use the restroom frequently, but my mind seems to be resting better here in the last few days. Doc said an active baby is a healthy baby, so there's no need to be concerned with what time my peanut is most active.
Best moment this week: I'd say the highlight of my week was our breastfeeding class. It was so informative. Our speaker was very knowledgable and very easy to listen to. I feel like we learned a lot. There was definitely a lot that I didn't know. Did you know that you can milk yourself? I had a dream a few months ago, that went something like that, and I thought it was the craziest thing! It's called "Hand Expression" or "Manual Expression." More about that in another post!
Miss Anything?: I miss being able to bend over to pick something up and it not be painful or uncomfortable.
Movement?: All day. All night. The movement is by far one of my favorite things about being pregnant. Hands down.
Food cravings: Still nothing, womp womp.
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Nausea is back and slapping me in the face every day in this third trimester. It's much worse than it was in the first trimester. The only positive is that it doesn't last long.
Gender: B for BOY!
Labor signs: No.
Symptoms: Third trimester sickness and exhaustion. Cramps and Braxton Hicks. Healthy skin and long hair. :)
Belly button in or out?: In :)
Wedding rings on or off?: On :)
Happy or moody most of the time?: Happy. I have this sense of calm about me, lately. There's a lot that needs to be done, but nothing that will disrupt me being a mother. WHICH is what I'm looking forward to...
Looking forward to: Being a momma. I'm looking forward to caring for this babe, breastfeeding him and learning from him.

To keep up with us be sure to follow us on Facebook. Also, we're looking for guest contributors while I'm away for a while with my baby! Contact me at melissabriggs@sbcglobal.net, if you're interested. One last thing if you're local to Kansas City, you HAVE to come down to Tulip on The Plaza for Hello Cheeseburger's Trunk Show! It's tomorrow from 12-4! Here's a little peek at one of my favorite HC necklaces! You can find them on Facebook as well.
xx,
Melissa Loren
