{Baby Schartz: 32 Weeks}

How far along?: 32 weeks
Total weight gain?: 12 lbs.
Size of baby?: Baby Schartz is the size of a pumpkin squash! Perfect for fall :)
Maternity clothes?: I haven't purchased a single maternity piece yet. Except for a belly band, but I never wear it.
Stretch marks?: Nooooo! And I've heard that if you're going to get them, you'd have them at this point. Truth??
Sleep?: Sleep has been good this past week. I wake once every night to hit up the loo. Otherwise I'm sleeping pretty well.
Best moment this week: Definitely our doctor visit! He said that baby was head down and that I was measuring about a week ahead! He told us that after next week, if baby decided to make his big debut, he wouldn't try and stop him! Eeek!
Miss Anything?: Not necessarily...
Movement?: Ohhhh YES! He never lets up. He's a healthy little kicker! I love it though-most of the time. ;)
Food cravings: Not a darn thing!
Anything making you queasy or sick?: I have been sick more often in the third trimester than I ever was in the first trimester. Most days I think it's the heat, but it happens at home too, so I'm not sure. I also thought I'd add that even though I haven't had any real food aversions, I've noticed that I prefer cold foods and I haven't been a big meat eater during this entire pregnancy.
Gender: We're going to have a little momma's boy! :)
Labor signs: Braxton Hicks.
Symptoms: You name it, I have it! But seriously...
Belly button in or out?: In...barely...
Wedding rings on or off?: On :)
Happy or moody most of the time?: Happy. We're in the home stretch! I still can't believe that I'm about to be a mother. I'm nervous. I hope I'm a good mother. I've been praying for patience and strength and the ability to not be too hard on myself...
Looking forward to: ...so much. It's practically fall-my favorite! It's also practically my birthday! There are many things to look forward. This is such happy time.

Can I just point out that it's MID September?? Is anyone else baffled by this?! Where has 2013 gone?!
Just a reminder, we're still taking guest posts and nursery posts! It would be so great to have them while I'm tending to baby and figuring out the whole mommy thing! Please let me know if you're interested! :)
xx,
Melissa Loren

  2. I didn't get any stretch marks until after the baby was born. I dropped my baby belly REALLY quickly thanks to some bad baby blues. Is it possible to get them from losing weight too quickly? Search me....

  4. Rikki the same.thing happened to me also!!! I was so excited I didnt get a single one and then after the baby was born and my belly dropped I got a few also. I dont think you can even prevent it that way cause its like a balloon deflating happens so fast lol. You will be a wonderful mom, I worried also but it really does come natural. Your gonna turn into a momma bear with her baby cub. My best advice to you is try not to nit pick the husband too much, they just do things differently than moms lol. Just cause its different doesnt mean its not right. Just enjoy it, they really grow up too fast;) dont give up on nursing if it doesnt go right the first time. It takes time for you both to get it but when you do its an amazing bonding experience:)
