{Baby Schartz: 33 weeks}

How far along?: 33 weeks
Total weight gain?: 12 lbs.
Size of baby?: Baby Schartz is the size of a durian fruit, whatever that is! What I do know is that he is 17-19 inches and 4-6 lbs. Since he is in each side my ribs, my lungs and down very low, all at once, I'm going to guess that he's the larger of those two numbers!
Maternity clothes?: Not yet! If I decide to wear jeans in the next few weeks, I'll probably have to pick up a pair of maternity!
Stretch Marks?: Again, not yet. I am getting hungrier though and I have definitely noticed my belly expanding more rapidly so I'm not holding my breath yet.
Sleep?: Sleeeeeep. All I want to do is sleep! I change positions a lot. The weight is heavy on my hips and makes them go numb, so I have to switch sides every hour or so. I'm still getting up to use the restroom at the same time in the middle of the night.
Best moment this week: Hmmm, I'd say our trip to the "K." We just had such a good time and it was nice to get out and do something together. OH, and getting the house ready for fall and gathering pumpkins! We're planning a pumpkin patch date! :)
Miss Anything?: Not this week.
Movement?: Movement is an understatement. I'm going to miss his movements so much. I won't know what to do with myself when there's no longer a wiggle worm in my tummy. Tear. :( Keep baking little buddy.
Food cravings: Zilch! So boring.
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Acid reflux. Staying upright and drinking milk helps!
Gender: Sweet baby boy <3
Labor signs: Braxton Hicks.
Symptoms: I have it all! Fatigue, swelling, hip pain, acid reflux, and nerves!
Belly button in or out?: In...barely...barely, barely.
Wedding rings on or off?: On :)
Happy or moody most of the time?: Happy. This entire experience has been more than I ever expected. Through the pain and the exhaustion, a little miracle shines through. It's hard to put into words how life changing this process is. It's incredible to me that we've made a little human.
Looking forward to: What am I not looking forward to? This is the best time of year and this year it gets to become a little sweeter! I'm not going to lie, I kind of hope he comes a little early(just a little) because I really, really, really want to see his tiny newborn self in a Halloween costume!!
Until next Friday,
Melissa Loren
