{Baby Schartz: 34 Weeks}

How far along?: 34 weeks
Total weight gain?: 13 lbs.
Size of baby?: Baby Schartz is the size of a Butternut Squash! Somewhere between 4.2 and 5.8 pounds.
Maternity clothes?: No, now that it's cooler I've reverted to my leggings. They still fit just fine. I'm wearing my all time favorite pair from Express in my pic. Going on year #3(or is it 4?)! Please, oh please bring them back, Express!!
Stretch Marks?: I haven't seen any sign or evidence so far...
Sleep?: I don't know if sleep is ok orrrr if I'm just getting used to it being mediocre?
Best moment this week: Well, we got out of the house this past weekend and went to our favorite bar down town. Yes, this 8.5 month preggo woman went to the bar. We just went to watch the football games and we were home by 11. It was nice to get out and see some friends and feel like I had somewhat of a social life, because lately it definitely feels like I don't. We also had a dr appointment on Wednesday. He reconfirmed that baby is head down and gave Kory the go ahead to go hunting. *insert angry/bitter/pouty face* We won't check to see if I'm dilated until next week, so I guess he's off the hook. ;)
Miss Anything?: Being able to bend over. It hurts to bend over when there's a butternut squash inside of you!
Movement?: Since about 17 weeks. Little buddy hasn't stopped. We're in the stage where you see a tiny foot drag all the way across my belly. It's breathtaking, beautiful and crazy creepy all at the same time. :-D
Food cravings: Nothing, I think it's just because I love all food, all days of the week. Hee.
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Dare I say that I haven't been sick in the morning for several days?? I actually just noticed this when I got to this question. Hopefully the morning sickness is gone.
Gender: Sweet baby boy <3
Labor signs: Braxton Hicks.
Symptoms: I have it all! Fatigue, swelling, hip pain, acid reflux, and nerves! Oh and the endless peeing.
Belly button in or out?: In...barely...
Wedding rings on or off?: On :)
Happy or moody most of the time?: Happy and hormonal. I've caught myself being a little more emotional than usual.
Looking forward to: Our 36 week appointment. I can't wait to get an idea of where we're at!
xx,
Melissa Loren

  1. Dear Melissa,

I know this is an uncomfortable subject, but I hope you will look at the following blog. It's very informative and may educate you on something you thought you already knew about.

    Blessings.
