This will just be a quick post and unfortunately I lost my pictures so all I can show you is the end result. However, I thought I'd walk you through this super easy do it yourself nursery decor piece. I've used these cardboard letters before, in this project. I found mine at JoAnn's. Painter's tape, a ruler and spray paint are the only other tools you'll need! For Henry's "H" all I did was spray paint it all white. Once it was dry I used my ruler to mark off 1" spaces. After that I used the tape to create stripes where I marked off the 1" gaps. Once the tape was in place I spray painted the letter with very light coats of black paint. I made sure to do several light coats so that the paint wouldn't bleed. I let it dry and then it was ready to join the nursery.
Henry's nursery has lots of color, so I tried to balance it out with some black and white. I've been very happy with the B&W pieces throughout the nursery, and this H is no exception! Super simple, but it adds personality!
Oh the possibilities!
Go make one for someone today! :)
