Henry turned 1 month on December 1st. It is insane how quickly 4 weeks went by. Absolutely insane. One minute I was bawling my eyes praying to God for the strength to get me through and now I'm wishing for time to slow down and I truly know that I am so very blessed to have H smiling back at me everyday. I won't go on too much about it, but it's true what they say. Don't rush it or wish it away. One month and I can already see him growing.
Here's a little bit about Henry Harper at one month old:
He loves his momma. He has made that very clear and I'm thankful. Being needed is a powerful thing.
He loves my Henry Harper necklace. He grips it tight every chance he gets.
Speaking of gripping things, he's found my hair.
He loves the sound of the vacuum.
He already holds his head up so well, I can't believe it.
He loves the sound of the shower as well. Thank you to the mommas who told me I could shower while he swings. It always puts him to sleep!
He is the noisiest sleeper! The kid moans, groans and grunts all night long! We had to move him to his nursery because I would wake and freak out with every sound. So he's been in his nursery since about day 4 or 5. It works out well though, he seems to be just fine in there. :)
He likes back rubs. He loves it when I tickle his back.
He pees in fresh diapers like it's his job.
He hates to be put down. He demands attention. Not surprising. ;)
He likes to hang out in his diaper. I may regret letting him do this later.
He coos and sneezes a lot. It may be the sweetest thing ever.
He already gave me a smile for the first time and it melted my heart.
And he always crosses his hands across his chest like this while he's feeding...
