2015, you were tough.
This year has been FULL of change, and for someone who hates change, it has been an adjustment. The ups and downs were abundant this year. I have struggled, I have cried, and I have fought.
Luckily for me, I have this beautiful little boy to keep a smile on my face and to continue to give me a reason to celebrate life and accept all of it's challenges. Only for him will I put a smile on this face and keep trucking along.
And really, when you stop looking at the glass half empty, we have had all the reasons to celebrate-from Henry turning two, to him being a ring bearer in two very special weddings, and even being able to visit my sweet uncle one last time, we've been blessed to be part of everything happening around us.
2015 reminded me how to be strong and to always be judgement-free. It reminded me that your day is what you make of it. It reminded me that our children are our greatest creations in life, and that they are a reflection of us. It reminded me that it's ok to cry, but even better to laugh. It reminded me that the company we keep most certainly has in impact on the quality of life.
Most importantly it reminded me to love, to keep trying, and that everything is going to be alright.
My 2016 mantra is going to be, I only do boss things. If Jessica Simpson or Beyonce wouldn't do it, I'm out.
Peace sign emoji.
