{Nursery Inspo for Sweet Girl}

A girl, I'm having a girl! I'm still wrapping my brain around this one! I have dreamed of this day. Honest. As cliche as that may seem, I have always wanted a little girl. My mom and I have always been so close, and I've always wanted to share that with my own offspring. Henry and I are inseparable of course, and always will be, but I can't help but get slightly more excited over hair braids, bows and baby dolls, than I do guns, boogers and race cars. lol. Anyway, I can't help but scroll through pinterest and etsy over and over again. I think I've finally landed on a theme (if you had't figured that out yet). It may seem awful flamingo-y, but I really just want a touch of flamingos and a few florals with gold and black and white mixed in! Here's the catch, and the challenge, we live in a two bedroom love shack for the time being. This means once sweet girl moves out of our room and her rock n' play, her and Henry will have to share a room. It sounds complicated and I was totally against it at first, but I've decided to join team positive pants and I've thought long and hard about it. I think we can make it work, and it's only temporary. Plus Henry only really uses his room to sleep in, he doesn't like to part ways too often haha. We spend most of our time playing in the living room and I'm totally ok with that. Therefor I've decided to split their room into halvesies. It's going to be a challenge for sure, but I think it will work. We'll have to clear some things out and rearrange plenty, but it'll be good. I'm looking forward to painting and sprucing things up for Henry too. I can't wait to get started and to share it with y'all. Stay tuned. :)
I linked all the goodies I'm after for sweet girl's side, incase there's anything you love and have to have for yourself! Most of these shops have been on my radar since I had Henry, or have even been gifts that I've bought for friends, so I'm super excited to finally get my hands on them

  1. Love love love! I think you could totally make a room for the both of them work. It got me thinking and this looked fun. You could tie in some other animals like a cheetah or something to bring a little more boy to the room and add some splashes of blue for Henry to your palette of b&W, gold and pink!

We LOVE getting comments, go ahead and leave one!
