How far along?: 32 weeks! 8 months and a major slacker! Looks like (hopefully) you guys will be getting two bump posts this week. :-/ It's so hard to keep up sometimes, especially with the holidays among us and so much to get done! And um yeah, we haven't updated this little chalkboard sign, in a while! lol.
Total weight gain?: 20 pounds!
Size of baby?: Baby is the size of a squash! 16.6 inches and 3.75 pounds!
Maternity clothes?: Still just living in my belly band, leggings and oversized shirts. The comfier, the better!
Stretch marks?: Not really, but mine from Henry are kinda peeking their way back through. Ugh.
Sleep: When my legs are cramping and my toes aren't curling, I sleep like a baby. ;)
Best moment this week: So last week, technically. My doctor appointment. It's always so nice to hear her heartbeat and no that everything is ok. The only thing that has me a little nervous is that I've been told that my platelets are low. There's not really anything I can do to raise them, other than steroids. It's not harmful to me or the baby, it could just keep me from receiving an epidural. Which I didn't want with Henry, but ended up getting one. I feel like I will probably want one again, so hopefully I can raise the platelets. I'll of course try to avoid and epidural, but won't be ashamed if I turn to one again.
Miss anything?: My body. ;) lol. I'm ready to workout again. I need to make healthier choices again. I ready to feel cute in my clothes again.
Movement?: She is a very active baby. I feel her constantly. My favorite way to feel her lately is by her hiccups. Sean has felt her and watched her move so much which is amazing. My bestie got to feel her hiccups on Christmas, too! Hiccups were mostly how people felt H, so it's pretty cool to experience that again.
Food cravings: Pop and coffee. Should I admit that? I'm terrible, I know. I don't know how pregnant mamas survive without coffee. Between work and Henry, there's no way I could skip coffee.Anything making you queasy or sick?: I don't know what triggers the nausea, but I get it everyday. It doesn't usually last long at all, but it's always enough to make me curl up for a bit.
Gender: GIRL <3 <3 <3
Labor signs: Lots of sharp pains and cramps so far, but not much else.
Symptoms: I am still feeling all of the symptoms. Nausea, exhaustion, cramps, charlie horses, sciatica, headaches, heartburn, etc.
Belly button in or out?: In, but right on the edge. When I laugh it pokes out a smudge. Haha. So gross.
Happy or moody most of the time?: Happy. I'm so happy to be on this journey with Sean. I've wanted this and pictured this for so long. We have had so much fun doing everything baby-related together. He even encouraged me to get all my scrapbooking supplies in order so I can document Luce's first year just like I did Henry's. <3 I can't wait to fill his heart with so much joy. I know he's going to love this little girl more than life.
