{Luce's 6 Month Photos}

As I'm sure you all know by now, I've been dabbling in photography. I love being able to capture the
day to day moments and even the milestones in my children's lives. I love that I enjoy studying, reading and learning all about it. I have SO much to learn, I'm pretty sure it's a creative process and a subject that you never stop learning about, but I feel like I've come a long way even in just a few months. I can't imagine what I'll do if I keep practicing and learning. Which I fully intend to do. I promised myself that I'll push any self-doubt aside and persevere. I won't let myself be self-conscious, I will put myself out there and keep thriving to be better.
Luce will be 6 months old in a matter of days, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to document her being half a year old. I'll still do her 6 month update and photo later this week. That will have all her amazing stats and details. There's a lot!
For this shoot I DIY'd a teepee for her and gathered some items from her room and set up camp in the woods. Of course she fought her morning nap, so she wasn't exactly happy about taking pictures (ha!), but she's still cute and I still love the setup. She warmed up to us at the end. She really just needed her daddy there to make her smile, but he was working hard of course.
I'm considering doing some teepee mini sessions if there's enough interest. We can even adjust it for fall pics, I'll do that for Luce regardless. If I really get enough interest I'll make a boy teepee for all my boy mommas! I need one for Henry anyway. 😉 And show of hands for interest in a teepee tutorial blog. Let me know if you guys want me to blog it or not!
xx,
Melissa Loren
